I was recently asked to donate a photography item that would be raffled off at a fundraiser at the end of the month.  I'm always happy to participate in any way I can but when I found out what the fundraiser was for I knew I had to donate and I had to make it good.  A neighboring town is having a fundraiser Ball to raise money for a young girl's family to help offset medical expenses that they've endured and continue to endure due to her Leukemia. She was diagnosed with Leukemia at age 7 and she's still fighting.  A photo of this little girl was displayed online and her smile was beautiful.  It amazed me how she has gone through so much and still kept smiling.

With that being said, I wanted to make a raffle item that would draw attention and hopefully raise a decent amount of money for this family.  Here is what I put together.

The basket contains the Basket itself, a 4x6 Photo Frame, Pricing Guide, Congratulations/Thank You Letter, 2 Business Cards, and a Gift Certificate for A Full Session valued at $350.

I wanted to dress up the basket a little so I bought some ribbon at my favorite craft store and hot glued it around the basket.  Then I made a bow and glued that onto the basket as well.  It's not perfect but it definitely gives the basket the look that I was going for.

I'm hoping my small contribution will help this family as much as possible!  I'm proud to be part of a community that takes care of each other.

Pretty In Pink - Newborn Session Newborns have a tendency to truly melt my heart and this beautiful baby girl did just that.  This little lady is 12 days old today and she is the first baby that her parents have been blessed with.  She is so precious and look at all that hair!  She didn't fall asleep without a fight but when she was awake she had her eyes wide open and was completely content.  The entire time she was in the Studio she didn't cry once.  She was an absolute princess and I can't wait to see her again for her three month session.

Senior Portrait Session - Jenna I love photography and sessions like this Senior Portrait Session are exactly why.  Jenna was such a sweetheart.  She brought her dog to her session to be photographed with her.  For such a small golden retriever that little dog had some serious strength!  It took a little work to get her to look at the camera for us but eventually I got the shot I was hoping for.

Jenna and I must have walked around this park a dozen times.  Every time something would catch my eye or spark my interest I would drag her to the spot and we'd take pictures.  We definitely got our exercise in for the day.  Here are some of my favorite photos of the day.  Thank you Jenna for being such a pleasure to work with.  I hope to see you and your family again soon.
